The Friend Factory is a self-help chapter book written to teach seven- to ten-year-old children about making friends, how to become champion friend pickers, and how to tell when people won't be good friends. Written in an entertaining style, The Friend Factory encourages readers to become the friend factory boss. All children can do spectacularly well with this important job because they are soooo smart. The Friend Factory includes a lot of really secret stuff that make up the hands-on tools necessary to be a friend factory boss. The Friend Factory also includes an official Champion Friend Picker certificate signed by the mayor of Leadership Village and one of his officials who helped co-author The Friend Factory. Find out more by visiting www.LeadershipVillage.com.

Excerpt:
Would you like to have some new friends? If so, I have some great news for you. You can make your own friends, just the way you want them. You make them in your friend factory.
Here is some more great news. In the friend factory, you're the boss. You get to make all the rules. No one can tell you what to do or how to behave. You're the friend factory boss. You're in charge.
The things I'm going to tell you are important secrets. Only the friend factory boss is allowed to know about them. Please keep them to yourself. Please don't tell anyone else.

With that as the opening, The Friend Factory goes on to teach seven- to ten-year-old children about making friends, how to become champion friend pickers, and how to tell when people won't be good friends.
